Deal Ends In...

TDM: The Early Years

Get £117 worth of magic, 5 years of work, all for just £39!

Get all of our early magic for one discount price.

Open letter to our customers:

We’ve always promised to deliver you the best content and offers in magic.

Yesterday, we announced what we honestly thought was a pretty great deal—a bundle of all of our early work for about 70% off, including some very strong underground material. We called it the ‘TDM Early Years bundle.’

To be honest, and this is a bit embarrassing, this bundle didn’t really seem to strike a chord with our readers. (In fact, it was the lowest sales we remember seeing from a bundle like this in 5 years!! Which is confusing, because all of the individual items in the bundle sold like hotcakes when we first released them at a collectively higher price…)

For that reason, we’ve decided to ‘can it’ entirely.

Evidence suggests it ain’t as great a deal as we thought—and since we take our promise to only give you emails with great deals seriously, we figured better to just cancel this one, quit while ahead, and get back to giving you content and offers you love as soon as possible.

We will continue to sell the products in this bundle individually on our site—so they will still be available—but we’re not bringing this deal back as clearly the bundle is not something our customers want.

That being said, it’s still a major discount: £78 to be exact. (Thats $106.24 in free magic as of today’s conversion rate.)

And genuinely, this isn’t one of those things where we were planning to do this all along as a way to manufacture scarcity. The only reason we aren’t pulling it immediately is that we got a couple of emails from people who were on the fence about this and eyeing it up, and we didn’t want to pull the rug without giving them a fair warning.

So this is just a 48-hour notice that we’ll be canceling this bundle and don’t plan to ever bring it back.

If there are any among you who want to claim the offer, please act within the next 48 hours.

After that, this bundle project will forever be deleted from our site.

Thank you for your support.

Here are the original details of the offer:

In 2020, we started producing magic projects for the community.

Since then, we’ve come a long way, and over the last couple of years, we like to think we’ve been putting out and collaborating on some of the most exciting work in magic.

But if you’ve joined us recently, you might not know that some of our best ideas are hidden in our less well-known early projects. These were underground projects put out years ago and circulated among our small community of readers.

We wanted to give you a reason to check this early work out, so we decided to do something bold and combine ALL of our early projects into one huge (and hugely discounted) bundle.

This bundle includes...

1. The Witch Hand Project (£15)
2. You Find Your Card (£8)
3. Forcing by Telepathy (£8)
4. The Dolphin Shuffle (£12)
5. Base (£15)
6. Matchmaker (£14)
7. Shaken not Stirred (£8)
8. The Libra Project (£9)
9. The Silk Switch (£11)
10. The Kaleidoscope project (£12)
11. Twin Souls (£5)

The total retail cost of this bundle comes to £117.

These are not made-up numbers or artificially inflated prices—this is just what we’ve been selling these projects for for the last few years. (And to be honest, we felt they were already good deals at the original prices.)

We spent quite literally years of our life making these projects.

You can see us add up the value of the bundle in this YouTube video at 1:07:09.

You’ll also see us react to the magic included - which is A TON.

(This video isn’t even half of it either.)

This is genuinely a crazy offer, especially as we already price our projects as affordably as possible.

This is the lowest this bundle will ever be priced— buy in the next few days to secure it before the price goes up.

If we were to add all the details of each project here, this page would probably take you a full day to read through. So we’ve just put the trailers + basic details, and you can feel free to read the full product description on the original page which is also linked.

1. The Witch Hand Project (£15)

Effect 1: The Witch Hand

Here’s what this effect looks like…

You show your spectator three objects—coins, dice, and playing cards.

This routine consists of three phases.

Phase 1:

The spectator uses the result of a random coin toss, performed while you look away, to place that very same coin in one of their hands behind their back. You also place a coin in one of your hands.

When both of you open up your hands, the coin is in the same hand!

Phase 2:

The spectator rolls a die while your back is turned and, based on the random result, places a die in one of their hands behind their back. You also place a die in one of your hands.

When you both open up your hands, not only are the dice in the same hand—both die are showing the same number!

Phase 3:

The spectator deals down cards and stops when they like. They take their card, fold it up and place it in one of their hands behind their back.

The spectator then freely picks a card from a different deck and gives it to you, and you do the same.

When you both open your hands, not only is the folded card in the same hand—the cards, impossibly, are the same!

'The Witch Hand' is, as far as we know, a completely original and revolutionary reworking of the Which Hand idea.

Here’s the best part:

* Zero gimmicks (uses normal dice, coins, and playing cards)

* Everything is examinable (no need for any hasty 'clean up'

* 100% hit rate (each outcome is completely guaranteed)

* No questions asked or logic puzzles employed (everything feels as fair as we could make it)

* Contains original sleights we have never seen before (that we'll be using in many more routines)

* Surprisingly easy to master! (when Benji taught this to Jacob, he picked it up in one short session)

Effect 2: 'Influencer'

Influencer is a super clean Which Hand routine using a single coin.

This effect uses classic principles explored by other mentalists such as Mark Eldson and Manos Kartsakis, but frames them in a new way that we think is very deceptive and feels impossible.

Here’s how the spectator will remember this effect…

Your back is turned the whole time. The spectator feels like they can switch hand as many times as they want. You don’t ask them any questions. Yet at the end of it…

...you not only know which hand it’s in but can tell them all their choices, including whether the coin is showing heads or tails!

* You ask zero questions (we personally prefer Which Hand plots that don't rely on asking a series of questions before we get to the reveal.)

* No guesswork (this will hit every time.)

* You reveal not just which hand the coin is in…but whether it is heads or tails! (and a 'bonus' piece of information the spectator only THOUGHT about.)

* Works with imaginary objects (if performed AFTER other Which Hand plots, this routine can 'cancel out' the other methods the spectator may be imagining).

* You don’t need to present the routine as ‘truth teller vs liar.’

* Works over zoom or other virtual settings!

Effect #3: 'RB'

The spectator shuffles a deck of cards.

They freely choose any one red card and any one black card.

They then switch the position of the cards as many times as they like.

You ALWAYS know where the red card and black card are.

This routine makes for a great opener or first phase in an ‘out of this world’ routine, or even a ‘color divination’ effect.

This effect:

* Requires zero sleight of hand

* Is incredibly clean (can be repeated as many times as you like and the method will remain just as invisible)

* Does not use a marked deck

* Easy to pick up (you'll have all the knowledge to start performing this within minutes of watching the tutorial)

See the details of this project here.

2. You Find Your Card (£8)

The spectator picks any card that is lost in the deck. They then select another card, turn it face up, and insert it into the deck. When the deck is spread, you find the face-up card next to their selected card.

The plot is straightforward, memorable and seemingly impossible—all the ingredients required for a classic.

With a plot as timeless as the Ambitious Card, can we find a way to make the method so deceptive that both beginners and top professionals would swear by it?

Here’s what we came up with…

V1: The classic

The spectator picks any card that is lost in the deck. They then select another card, turn it face up, and insert it into the deck. When the deck is spread, you find the face-up card next to their selected card.

This version teaches Lu Brent's classic method.

V2: Annemann’s touches

While studying, we found a very similar effect that was published by Theodore Annemann. This effect is even simpler than the original, requiring just ONE move.

(It can also be done completely impromptu!)

V3: Gaffed

The spectator selects a card and it is lost in the deck. Next you openly turn the top card face up and let the spectator place it in the deck. Without doing any extra moves or sleights, you spread the cards face up and the reversed card is found next to the chosen card!

We wanted to find a way to perform this effect while keeping the cards in full view the entire time. We realised that we could do so using some classic gaffs.

But is there a way to perform this effect in the open without gaffs?

That’s the next variation…

V4: Same effect but not gaffed

The spectator selects a card and it is lost in the deck. You show them the top card and ask them to place it anywhere in the deck.

When you spread the cards, both cards are found together!

V5: The ULTIMATE

The spectator simply names a card. Next, they take a face up card and place it into the deck. You spread the cards and show that their face up card has found the named card!

(This version may look different each time you do it but the above is 100% achievable and demonstrated in the product.)

Please, don’t overlook how powerful this effect can be, it’s a classic that’s survived this long for a reason.

3. Forcing by Telepathy (£8)

Imagine this:

You borrow a shuffled deck of cards and spread them messily on the table. You name cards at random and ask a spectator to select the cards they believe match the ones named. It seems utterly impossible, yet you turn the cards over to show that they perfectly match!

This is an old plot that we first discovered in a magic book dating back to 1909—but it’s just as strong today as it was a century ago.

It’s called ‘Forcing by Telepathy’, and in this product, we teach 5+ variations on the routine.

Here's a performance Benji captured of Forcing by Telepathy with a few friends. Before they started recording, the deck had been shuffled and Benji had asked someone to touch the 2 of Diamonds. That's the card that's already set aside. Next, this happened...

Forcing by Telepathy won't look like this every time but this is how strong this effect will pretty much ALWAYS feel for the spectator.

That being said, let's get into the methods taught in this project...

V1: the base method

This is the simplest version of this effect and could easily be taught to a five-year-old. But don’t underestimate it!

V2: getting spicy

In the most basic version of this plot, you also end up selecting a card. In this variation, the audience genuinely selects ALL the cards—and they match the ones named. No cards are switched.

V3: ‘turn up the heat’

In this variation, the audience once again genuinely selects all the cards—and not only do the cards match, but the order of cards named perfectly matches the order of cards selected. This is pretty much as clean as this effect can get.

V4: my mouth is BURNING

In this variation, things get interesting as we demonstrate how you can perform an incredibly clean Out of This World using the principle this effect is based on.

In this effect, the audience shuffles the deck, and then touches cards they think are red or black. Neither of you looks at the faces of the cards…yet the audience gets them exactly right!

V5: it’s going to be a long night…

In this variation, we return to the original plot and show you how to perform it under the cleanest possible conditions.

4. The Dolphin Shuffle (£12)

The origin of the Dolphin Shuffle

When it came to the creation of 'The Dolphin Shuffle' we started by asking ourselves the following question:

“When we shuffle cards for real, what does it ACTUALLY look like?”

The Dolphin Shuffle is:

* Easy (you should be able to pick this up within 10-15 minutes)
* Visually imperceptible (even when you know how it’s done, it’s incredibly hard to spot)
* Casual (carefully crafted to mimic the way people actually shuffle cards)
* Chaotic (the subtlety of a card dropping from the deck sells this shuffle HARD)

The true power of this shuffle is how incredibly natural it looks and feels.

You'll also get 2 bonus false shuffles when you buy.

Full details on the project here.

5. Base (£15)

1 timeless principle, 8 knockout effects, 3 FREE bonus routines—Ollie Mealing finally shares his EASY system for effortlessly powerful card magic.

This system is based on one laughably easy principle that pretty much every magician on earth is aware of.

* ZERO forces
* 100% impromptu
* The deck can be PROPERLY shuffled before you begin
* ZERO pre-work
* ZERO gimmicks
* Beginner-level sleight of hand ONLY
* The deck can be borrowed

On this bundle page, we'll just show two of the effects included.

6. Matchmaker (£14)

Picture this:

You hand your spectator a deck that they help you shuffle.
Next, they name ANY number.
You shuffle another deck and then deal to the chosen number in both decks.
The card at the chosen number is the same!
Finally, despite the fact that the spectator SAW that both decks were different as you dealt through them…
…you finish by revealing that now both decks match perfectly!

This effect is called Matchmaker.

Nearly 3 years ago, we sat down with pro magician Steven Bridges and brainstormed a method that we thought would make this effect possible.

Ever since then, we haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.

More than any other effect, we desperately wanted to see this one performed in real life.

That’s why we made the following video…

(In this video, we travel to London and perform this effect for Steven to see if we could fool him with his own methods!

We think you'll enjoy the whole video, but if you just want to see the performance, go to minute 3:29)

NOTE: although we cut the performance down slightly to make it more pacy for the video, we didn’t cut any of the method. Everything you see is all that's necessary for the effect to work.

Here are some important points:

* No complex sleight of hand
* No need to memorize any stacks
* Works with ANY number
* No gimmicks
* No deck switches
* No forces

Here are just some of the reactions we've received from customers and Daily Magician readers to this effect:

“Loved the build up to that surprise ending!” - Woj Magic

“Loved it, very interesting effect!” -
Florian

“So good!! I don't understand how you do it!” -
Esther

“Unbelievable” -
Dan Chan

“A great effect and fun to do.” -
Alan Blair

“So I've been looking for a deck match routine for a while now without having to do a deck switch or not all the cards matching. I came across matchmaker and bought hoping this was different than everything I saw. It definitely was. The ability to do this with 2 normal decks and not needing to do a switch at all makes this so much better of an effect than a lot of similar effects out there. Plus the added bonus of the cards matching up adds that little bit extra to make this effect worth the price. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to do a deck matching routine.” -
Nate Heather

2 free bonuses when you buy, full details here

7. Shaken not Stirred (£8)

The FORBIDDEN magic trick from Howard Thurston.

Honestly, we’re probably one of the only 200 people in the last century to have even read about this trick.

Even if you found it (which is incredibly unlikely as it’s crazy obscure) you’d probably have glossed over it considering the name…

See, by today's standards, the name seems a little…well…let’s just say we wouldn’t post it on Facebook.

Meaning the method for this trick has been well and truly buried in a $0.25 pamphlet Thurston used to sell after his 19th-century performances.

It doesn’t get much more secret than that.

Yet, this method is INCREDIBLY easy and crazy powerful.

As you might have guessed, when one of our readers reached out asking how his child could fool their local IBM ring, this was the trick we recommended.

So what does it look like?

* This trick requires little to no sleight of hand.

* Can be performed using a borrowed deck.

* Can be learned in minutes.

* We think it works well for stage, close-up, and walk-around.

We genuinely can’t wait to get this method out there - it's been hiding in for far too long.

Here's what a few of our customers had to say about this effect:

"Excellent tutorial. Very clearly explained, including all the important nuances. Very fairly priced. As usual, outstanding work on putting this together - You guys are awesome!" - Darryl Brooks

"Thank you guys for pulling an oldie out of the archives, I had never seen this before and I really like it. I will definitely use this." - Blair

"This. This is what The Daily Magician does best. This is why I've been an Inner Circle member for as long as I have. This is why I continue to support them. They take an old principle that, let's be honest, I don't have the time to discover by pouring over old magic books. Then they fool with it, craft an AMAZING routine and release it for a super reasonable price. OH! and if you don't like it, they'll give you a refund? Seriously!? Also, you WILL like it. So amazing. A real miracle." - Jim Taone

"I was expecting the unexpected and wasn't disappointed! The method is ingeniously simple, I can't wait to try it in front of an audience!" - Florian Samain

"Shaken not Stirred is great trick. Its exactly as they billed it, easy enough for a 10 year old but will fool adults. I can't wait to try it out!" - Charles Crumpton

"It was great! The trick is so simple and yet extrememly effective. Sometimes you see an impossible trick and get nervous for the reveal because it disappoints, but this one was perfect. Clever and good enough, yet not ridiculously complicated." - TH

"For me as a novice magician this is a truly delightful deception, and so easy to do with nothing much to remember, it does it itself really...brilliant." - Hugh

8. The Libra Project (£9)

There’s a routine many magicians perform called ‘weighing the cards.’

The basic idea of this effect is that the audience cuts any number of cards they like from the deck, and the magician instantly reveals how many cards are in the packet.

Sounds cool, right?

Well…a few years ago, that’s not what we thought.

We decided, without ever actually performing this trick for real spectators, that this effect was about as interesting as a pile of bricks.

(And we were VERY vocal about this opinion).

Then, one day, everything changed.

We were up late celebrating the New Year with friends when they asked to see some magic.

At the time, we were feeling incredibly lazy and wanted to perform an effect that we could guarantee would work without any effort on our part.

So we swallowed our pride and performed ‘weighing the cards.’

The result?

They loved it.

In fact, they couldn’t get enough, and we were blown away by the response to what we thought was a very basic effect.

Since then, this routine has become one of our favorite plots in magic.

As you can see, it plays really well for real-world audiences and is an incredibly solid routine to add to any card magic set.

It’s as compelling as it is simple for the spectator to follow.

Here’s what’s included in The Libra Project:

Level 1: The base method

It’s no secret that the usual way to accomplish this effect uses a stack, and we’ll cover exactly how that works in this level.

Level 2: SHUFFLE the deck first

We weren’t entirely stupid when we first criticized this routine. The other complaint we raised was that this routine would be much cooler if you could genuinely shuffle some or even all the cards before performing.

So in this variation we show you how you can perform weighing the cards with a VERY convincing and real shuffle sequence.

Level 3: No memory work and you can shuffle the deck

In this variation, we show you how to perform ‘weighing the cards’ without any memory work—and while using the same shuffle sequence as above.

Level 4: No memory work, you can shuffle the deck, and you never look at the faces

It gets even better. In this variation, you never look at the faces of the cards, you give the cards a genuine shuffle before you begin—and zero memory work is required.

Level 5: Experimental ideas

In this level, we show you some admittedly ambitious but fun ways to perform ‘weighing the cards’ impromptu with a borrowed deck.

9. The Silk Switch (£11)

Four nearly invisible switches. Secretly change cards while tossing, flipping, and dropping them from the deck.

PLUS two bonus routines and extra switches!

"Of all the ballsy switches I have done before, this might be the most convincing yet. Definitely going into the repertoire!" - Juan Elopre

When you purchase the Silk Switch, you'll learn how to:

- Toss the top card from one hand to another and secretly switch it for another card.

- Visually change a card as you flip it face up on the top of the deck.

- Perform a startlingly visual color change

- Secretly deal a selected card while making it look like you're simply dropping the top card onto the table

- Make a chosen card literally 'jump' to the top of the deck after being lost in the middle

- Bring a selected card to the top moments after dribbling the deck on top of it (no double lifts, no passes, and no palming)

These are just the beginning of the applications for this move and once you master the method, you'll be shocked at just how many card routines you can improve by adding the Silk Switch.

BONUS: The Danny Goldsmith Notes

"This move is fun! I'm loving the variations and enjoying all the creative possibilities it opens up!" - Danny (one of the world's leading minds on creating magic)

When you purchase The Silk Switch, you'll unlock a bonus piece of training where we teach a powerful two-phase routine that starts as a classic sandwich effect and ends by turning the plot on its head. This routine was inspired by the thinking of our friend and world-class magician Danny Goldsmith.

Here's what it looks like:

The spectator freely selects a card, which is then lost in the deck. You place two Jacks face up on the deck and toss them into your other hand. The moment the Jacks land in your hand, a face-down card appears between them, which is revealed to be the chosen card.

Next, you leave the chosen card on top and place the face-up Jacks in the middle of the deck. You then toss the chosen card into your other hand and the two face-up Jacks materialize on either side of the card.

In this bonus training, we also talk about an idea Danny gave us that looks like THIS...

(In the clip below, we're secretly switching the card in the act of dropping it)

Full details on the project can be found here

10. The Kaleidoscope project (£12)

Here’s the feedback we’ve been getting from those who took the time to watch this project.

"A truly excellent project with some really interesting principles that I have never come across before. Benji holds your hand throughout all the phases of this seemingly impossible feat and makes something that would be baffling in print surprisingly easy to do. I definitely recommend this project. I am already thinking the principles taught could turn your "out of this world" into something extra special, you could probably turn a quick card trick (out of this world) into a full 20-30 minute show using the teachings within this project. Best of all most phases can be done with a shuffled, borrowed deck of cards. Bravo." - Tom Winder

“This project was a masterclass in fun and interesting methods...Not for the faint of heart you will have to practice. The method is well thought out and easy to pick up with practice. Clear and concise step by step guide.” - Owen Staton

"Novice performers will appreciate the project's structured approach, which guides them through the fundamentals of the color sense routine, while a seasoned magician will find innovative techniques to breathe new life into this classic effect." - Cliff Horn

Here's the idea:

The spectator shuffles the cards. You close your eyes and hold your hand over the deck. One by one, you sense the colors of the cards!

We’ve always loved the above ‘color sense’ routine, so we recently sat down and produced the Kaleidoscope Project—a collection of FIVE incredible handlings of the plot…

Phase 1: The Classic

The spectator shuffles the cards. You remove a red card and a black card and, even though the spectator mixes them, you always guess which is which.

Next, you place the deck below the table and sense the colors of a whole bunch of cards one at a time!

This is our take on the classic handling of the color sense plot, teaching Lewis Jones’ genius principle with permission.

This variation:

* Can be done completely impromptu

* No deck switch required

* Easy to do

Phase 2: Suits

The effect begins as above. But this time, as you’re sensing the colors of the cards, you suddenly begin to sense their suit too! You end by revealing the suit and value of the final card.

This variation is powerful because it doesn’t require you to learn a new method—it simply takes the method you already learnt and applies it in a clever new way to ‘level up’ the routine.

This variation:

* Completely impromptu
* No deck switch required
* Uses the same method as the first

Phase 3: Spectator Does It

The effect begins similarly, but has a twist…

This time, as the cards are below the table, you have the spectator try to sense the colors of the cards. To their astonishment, they’re right every time. Next, you ask them if they can sense the suit of the cards. Once again, they’re right EVERY time!

In this effect, you can either immediately show that the spectator guessed correctly, or you can place the cards face down in different piles based on their guess and then reveal at the end.

The second way of handling the reveal makes this routine feel very much like an Out of This World plot, but it has the benefit of requiring zero packet switching and the spectator can turn over the piles themselves!

Disclaimer: This variation is NOT easy.

Phase 4: Hidden Patterns

In this variation, you perform the classic color sense routine but with some very impressive conditions…

The spectator shuffles the deck
Once they shuffle, you don’t even look at the faces of the cards
Doesn’t require a marked deck

Phase 5: Experimental Ideas

In this phase, we go over a bunch of ideas for how you can increase the impact of this routine by combining techniques we teach in previous phases with a powerful tool that many magicians already use.

Imagine this:

You shuffle and place the cards under the table. The spectator guesses the colors of the cards, proving correct every time.

Next, they start guessing the suit, once again guessing correctly every time.

Next, you ask them to guess the VALUE of the card. Believe it or not, they also guess correctly every time!

You end by having them guess the entire identity of the card—and they, of course, guess correctly.

This variation is not easy, and may look different each time you perform it, but the above is 100% possible with the techniques taught.

All of the above 5 phases are taught in the 93-minute runtime Kaleidoscope Project—the ultimate resource for magicians who want to master this routine.

Full details on the project can be found here.

11. Twin Souls (BONUS £5)

You’re going to make a prediction for two cards, either by texting them to your spectator or writing them on a piece of paper. To begin the effect, you write down your first prediction.

You then have your first spectator select a secret number, deal to it, look at the card, and put the cards back together. They can then cut the deck to bury their card.

You then make another prediction for your second spectator.

They then give the cards to your second spectator, that spectator deals to the same secret number and looks at a different card. You then reveal you predicted the identity of both cards correctly.

This is an effect inspired by Al Baker with a few modern twists.

Key points include…

*Next to no sleight of hand skill needed.
*Ridiculously easy to do - once you learn this you’ll be able to perform it forever.
*Super fooling (locking your predictions in by texting them to your spectator, or to your own phone/a friend's phone makes this effect very strong!)
*Road tested (this has been fooling spectators for 51 years!)

As you can see, this bundle is packed full of incredible content.

Featuring 17+ hours of magic!

It's also ridiculously affordably priced, meaning even if you own one or more of the projects, it's easily still worth your investment. For example, even if you own 60% of the projects in this bundle (most won’t), you’d still be getting a discount on the remaining 40% compared to buying them individually!

Our goal with this bundle is to help ensure some of the great ideas and magic in here don’t get overshadowed by our other work. We hope this bundle of work becomes one of our best selling projects - as there is some truly valuable material in here.

As per usual, you're also covered by our:

LIFETIME Daily Magician 100% Refund Guarantee

It's a pretty simple policy, really...

If for any reason you want your money back because this purchase doesn't meet your expectations, you will be refunded.

Despite the discount, we never want our clients to feel cheated even for a second.

If we didn't make good magic, we wouldn't stay in business.

There are, of course, a few limits to our refund policy. For instance, customers have asked us for a refund so they can buy the pirated version of our product at a lower cost - we think you can see why we'd reject that. Full details about our refund policy are here.

(We've rejected maybe 5 refunds in all our time doing business.)

This is the lowest price we will ever sell this bundle for.

We suggest you act now.
